OK, first of all what is this BC “Best Place on Earth” bullshit? Supernatural BC was the freshest slogan, why fuck with that? Yes we are supernatural, vibrant in both nature and culture. Who else can claim to be un-self consciously redneck and urbane, forward and backwoods, gun toating and laptop wielding (ok maybe just me for the last one)? Where else can you wander out of the club at 2 a.m. and run into a grizzly bear under star-lit skies in less than half an hour? And with every other province in Canada getting international attention for ground breaking music, it’s time people know we are making it happen here. To celebrate that, I bring you heat from BC for you to decide:
